COLORFLASH Fun Facts

• You can run, walk or even skip the COLORFLASH. It's all about having fun, being colorful and raising money for an important cause.  All proceeds will be donated directly to Memorial Sloan Kettering  Cancer Center for Pediatric Cancer Research.

• The COLORFLASH is not a timed event – take your time and enjoy. You'll be splashed with color dust at our color stations.  And this year, there will be six exciting new colors!

• Make sure to bring plenty of cash for our Food Truck Festival and COLORFLASH merchandise including tutus and more!

• All kids under 5 can participate WITH an adult free of charge and do not need to register.  Unregistered children will not receive a t-shirt.

• No pets are permitted in the race or anywhere in the Sherwood Island State Park

SOME IMPORTANT REMINDERS

• We recommend wearing your COLORFLASH t-shirts or another white shirt. Sunglasses could be helpful too (one pair given to all race participants)!
• The color does mostly wash out after the event, but don’t wear your brand-new running shoes or shorts
• If you are bringing along your phone to take awesome photos, you may want to put it in a plastic bag or plastic wrap – send us your cool pics at phearlessphoebe@gmail.com
• The color powder is 100% natural and biodegradable, but remember it might not all wash out
•  At the end of the race, we will provide paper-towels and plastic bags, but bring along some towels for your car
• There  are NO REFUNDS
• The COLORFLASH will go on rain or shine.  For severe weather, check your email.  The  COLORFLASH is weather permitting and under extreme conditions we may modify or cancel the race

Take Exit 18 to access the Sherwood Island Connector. 
Follow the Connector directly into park.

From Route 1 North and South

Take the Sherwood Island Connector in Westport. 
Proceed past the I-95 entrance/exit ramps directly into the park

From Route 15 (Merritt Parkway) Northbound

Take Exit 41 and proceed south on Route 33 to Route 1. 
Follow Route 1 North to the Sherwood Island Connector in Westport.

From Route 15 Southbound

Take Exit 42 and follow Route 57 South.  Go left onto Route 33. 
Proceed south on Route 33 to Route 1. Follow Route 1 North to the Sherwood Island Connector in Westport
